Raspberry Pear Popsicles, Family Favorite

I love making homemade popsicles.  They are incredibly easy to prepare and can be made in an almost endless variety of flavors.  My favorite part is that the kids love them and have no idea that their yummy "treat" is one of the healthiest snacks around.

I just made these Raspberry Pear Popsicles, they'll be a great afterschool snack for the boys tomorrow.

This recipe makes about 4 popsicles.

What you'll need:
2 organic Bartlett or Anjou pears - washed, peeled and chopped
1 cup of organic raspberries - washed
1/4 banana
Wood popsicle sticks
Containers for freezing - I love using our Sage Spoonfuls jars to make popsicles.  They are the perfect size.

*Place a slice of banana on the bottom of each jar and place the stick into the center. The banana will help hold the stick in place.
*Place the pear and raspberries into a food processor and pulse until smooth.
*Pour the puree evenly into each jar and place the jars into the freezer.
*Leave them to freeze for about 4 hours.
*To serve, run the jars under hot water for about 10 seconds to release the popsicle.
*Enjoy!
