It happened in a blink. One minute my daughter was a baby
and the next she's a little girl with pigtails, climbing the stairs
and wanting to wrestle with her brothers.
The change seemed to literally happen overnight. How does this happen?
Why is it that the older we get the faster time flies? More importantly, what
can we do to slow it down?
I was never someone who got caught up in time, but
something about my oldest turning 5 this year changed everything. Now it seems
like life has suddenly become a bullet train and the years are whizzing by so
fast my head is spinning.
My kids are growing up so fast, I need to find a way to
hold onto these moments.
I'm not sure how, but I'm going to find a way to wrestle
Father Time to the ground, because this time is all too precious and fleeting.

Oh wow! Hayden is just so adorable. I have to agree with you when it comes to time flying. My oldest is 13! I still have a hard time wrapping my head around being a mom of a 13 year old. It felt like yesterday that I would put him in a bouncer while watching the my favorite soap! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy youngest Matt turned 6 this year and as kindergarden is finishing up, it is going to hit me real hard when I am at his moving up ceremony next week! First Grade....here we come!
