The fall NYC Biggest Baby Shower was last week and it was one of the
best ever! Over 1,400 new and expectant parents were in attendance,
along with the best brands and some incredible speakers - including Christy Turlington!
There were also a number of celebrities in attendance. I had the pleasure of meeting Daphne Oz, one of the co-hosts of ABC's The Chew. She is absolutely lovely and is expecting her first baby!
One of my favorite parts of this event is getting to talk to so many new mamas!
My mom always comes to the NYC Biggest Baby Shower. It's so fun for us to spend the time together.
We set up a little Sage Spoonfuls pop-up shop - it was a huge hit! We sold everything we brought!
One of the highlights for us was getting to see our good friend Jamie, TheBabyGuyNYC! He is the best and always makes us smile!
There is no question about it, I love Big City Moms. Not only do they have fantastic events for new and expectant parents, but they are amazing people. Risa and Leslie, the two sisters who founded Big City Moms, have a very special place in my heart. Not only have they become good friends, but they helped us launch Sage Spoonfuls at their November 2011 Biggest Baby Shower NYC and it was one of the best business decisions I ever made.

Our big launch! The Biggest Baby Shower NYC November 2011 |
Two years ago when we were getting ready to launch Sage Spoonfuls, I was investigating event groups that catered to new moms. I came across Big City Moms and started looking deeper into the kinds of events they did. It didn't take long before I realized that their events were amazing. We knew we wanted to launch Sage Spoonfuls at their upcoming Biggest Baby Shower.

This is me with Risa and Leslie at the Miami Biggest Baby Shower 2012 |
We contacted Big City Moms and told them about our new product line and that we wanted to launch at their event. Even though they are used to working with the biggest brands in the baby product industry and no one knew about Sage Spoonfuls yet, Risa and Leslie welcomed us with open arms. They believed in Sage Spoonfuls from the start and helped make our launch at their November 2011 Biggest Baby Shower a huge success.

The Los Angeles Biggest Baby Shower 2012 |
The event was packed with over 1,000 new and expecting parents, bloggers, celebrities and media. Launching a new product in that kind of environment helped launch Sage Spoonfuls into the baby product industry with a bang.

On the experts panel at the NYC Biggest Baby Shower Spring 2012 |
Since our first event with Big City Moms in November of 2011, we've participated in dozens of their events across the country and have loved every minute!
Hey Liza! I was at the Biggest Baby Shower and loved your booth. I tweeted you a link to my lifestyle blog on my experience at the show. Here it is if it did not get to you: http://nycfitfoodfashion.com/2013/11/15/nycs-biggest-baby-shower-november-2013/
ReplyDeleteI am expecting my first child March 29th 2014. I can not wait to try out Sage Spoonfuls. I think it is very important to know what it is that our babies are eating. Obviously the best way to make that happen is to make the food for them!
